Tick, tick, tick . . .

No, that's not a badly adjusted exhaust valve on Joel's scoot.

It's the countdown clock on the Scooter Cannonball web site. As of this post, it says 88 days left until the start of the race. Gulp. (See the left column on this page for the current countdown.)

So much to do, so little time - or so it seems watching that clock tick off hours, minutes and seconds.

Plane tickets? Check. Truck rented? Check. Rooms booked? Nope. Scooter mods completed? Nope. List of tools to buy in SF (to avoid schlepping them across the USA as overweight baggage). Nope. GPS route programming done? Hah; barely begun. Gas budgeted for rental truck? Don't ask (grin), but please do donate.
